    The moment the Indian men’s field hockey team entered the Olympics in the year 1928 at Amsterdam, a legend in the history of hockey was in the making.

    Indian hockey legend Dhyan Chand led the Indian hockey team to a cruising victory at their debut Olympics at Amsterdam.

    Unexpected underdogs, India simple vanquished every team that came their way, winning the Gold seemingly effortlessly! The Wizard of hockey, Dhyan Chand, left the world and his opponents mere spectators as he worked his magic on the field, leaving not a chance for competition.

    2.Los Angeles Olympics, 1932

    In the 1932 Olympics, the Indian hockey team dazzled the world and secured a record yet unbroken (that will possibly remain so, due to its sheer magnificence)…

    They won 24-1 against the USA. As if that weren’t enough, they went on to winning their second consecutive Olympic gold.

    Cruising though the group stages without conceding a single goal, India made it to the finals to face Pakistan -only to beat then and win the sixth Gold medal!
